HSP - Heinlich Schonlein Purpura
"Lucie first presented with aching pain in her ankles and with swelling to her left ankle.
As time went on she developed a frightening, spotty, red rash. Her aching increased to the knees (which had dark purple patches on the backs similar to bruising) and then eventually up to her hips.
Now unable to walk because of the pain, watching the rash develop quite quickly as well as the decline of her emotional state, I decided to take her to our GP, who promptly advised us to head to the Children's hospital.
Having had a blood test and a lot of eyes on her unusual case, Lucie was diagnosed with HSP. She was very scared and upset and I was unable to console her.
Not satisfied with the prescribed treatment of steroids (being a 5yr old child) which the doctor at the children's hospital recommended, I pursued natural medicine for some answers and a more appropriate treatment than steroids for a small child.

Having had a 1.5 hour consultation on Lucie’s health, diet, emotions, family history, birth experience and a LOT more, Kay gave Lucie one dose of NAT PHOS 200c which are tiny and very easy for children to take and within 3 hours her joint pain had eased to the point where Lucie could walk again and her now furious, red, spotty rash had started to fade. This dose had such a fast effect on the HSP I could not believe it!!!
Lucie's mood had picked up considerably and she was ready for a good nights sleep.
The next morning saw even greater improvement, the spots were still there and she still had a little pain but it was clear that her Homeopathic remedies had a positive affect on her HSP.
By day 3-4 Lucie's body had nearly fully recovered, the joint pain was virtually gone, the rash had subsided, and her emotional state had made a full 360 on the previous days.
Lucie and my eldest daughter now see Kay as well as myself for health and harmony for our minds and bodies.
I really feel homeopathic remedies have changed the way we, as a family, view modern day medicine and inner health and that has to be a good thing.
