"Homeopathic medicine has had a major impact on our family's health but most significantly on the behavioral issues we were being faced with our then 2 year old son.
We were struggling with his excessive amounts of energy which would kick in the minute he awoke and go at 100 million miles an hour until he collapsed in bed that evening. He was extremely developed verbally and would talk/sing excessively while he was awake, way beyond his years. He was incredibly intuitive and while tearing around the house uncontrollably would actually be taking in everything that was going on around him only to recite it back word for word a few days later.
Our son was however become more and more angry and more and more energetic. We often began our day with hearing him loudly and often angry tone screaming 'I don't want to' which would begin a day of constant challenging of every aspect of his life, from getting dressed, to getting in the car but also was so negative toward fun things like going to the park, playing with toys, every activity was an issue.
While many would say this was normal behavior of a two year old, this was anything but. While some children may exhibit some of this aggressive, negative, out of control behavior some of the time, our son was like it all of his waking moments. He did not sit still long enough for you to give him a three word instruction and certainly never long enough for you to explain to him why his behavior was inappropriate. He would greet friends with punching and scratching (when you knew he was actually really happy and excited to see them, he just had his wires crossed.) I was unable to take him into shops, to parks or walking along a road for fear of his very unpredictable behavior which would see him run across roads to wherever he fancied. He was out of control and unhappy and I was absolutely exhausted.
I came to see Kay for two reasons, our son spent the first couple of years on prophylactic antibiotics because of a kidney problem and I was keen to use natural remedies to enhance his immune system and constitution. I was also hoping (and praying) that Kay may be able to calm my little boy down who I loved dearly but who was driving me crazy. Our son is now 4 years old and I have been seeing Kay regularly throughout this period.
We have now established remedies that have really helped Dom on a number of levels. His angriness improved very early on after seeing Kay and is now mainly under control. While it took longer to establish the right remedies to truly improve his concentration issues we now have a couple of remedies to call on in our hour of need.
Now at the age of four he is a truly beautiful normally energetic four year old; kind and caring of others and calm calm calm. While he still needs to be heard and his kindy teacher thinks he will end up being a politician or a lawyer as he challenges everything and attempts to negotiate his way around everything she has asks of him. Naturally he struggles to conform to what is the norm but with the help of homeopathy he has significantly slowed down so that now he is able to regroup and control himself so much better within these situations. He is now able to be his charismatic self without his high energy levels getting in the way.
